The best event of the summer so far has been the Ladies Who Brunch ATL event that just took place last weekend at Factory Atlanta in Chamblee. If you’re unfamiliar with the Ladies Who Brunch ATL, the founder Day and Bianca partnered to create a series of events for women to come together and network with each other in the city of Atlanta. They cover lots of different topics, I’ve attended two so far and they’ve both been incredible for networking and overall motivation. The speakers so far have been incredible women in business who don’t hold back when it comes to sharing their process and answering questions.

I had the opportunity to attend as the event photographer for last weekend’s sold out event. It was an amazing time with lots of positive energy. There were two amazing speakers on the panel, Supa Cent and Janelle Stephens. Both ladies are incredible business women in their respective industries.

Supa is the founder and CEO of Candy Case. She started the conversation by discussing her dedication to social media to build her brand and business. Now as the CEO and founder of The Crayon Case she is known for authenticity online. She started on Vine and now uses all social media platforms with over a million followers. Supa recently launched her makeup line and made headlines on Tuesday, November 27, 2019, for making one million dollars in 90 minutes on Cyber Monday. One thing I like about her personality is her ability to be herself online. She’s fun to watch and most of all she was an open book at the event.

Joining Supa Cent on the panel was the incredible Janelle Stephens owner of Camille Rose Naturals. She started making her hair products from home after she realized that there weren’t many hair products on the market that addressed her and her children’s needs. Now her products are found in
Target, Walmart, CVS, Sally Beauty and Walgreens! I love these products and actually use them myself. She’s a mother of 5 and mentioned her use of self care through exercise to keep herself fulfilled while running her business. Such a huge inspiration to hear both ladies speak from their experiences running companies.

If you’re looking for a fun thing to do in the Atlanta area, I suggest checking out what the Ladies Who Brunch ATL are up to. With so many different events taking place, it’s always good to know that with this one, you’ll be surrounded by positive vibes with lots of amazing lady bosses.
