I’m a lawyer turned award-winning international photographer. (Yes, you read that right!) I started growing my business,  SCP, while in law school about 17 years ago.

Even after I graduated, passed the bar, and began practicing law, I found myself being drawn more and more to creating lasting memories for my clients through photography. I couldn’t put my camera down, so after five years of juggling multiple passions, I decided to take a leap of faith and continue working as a lawyer but also turn my photography hobby into a real business alongside my fabulous team so I could continue doing what I love the most.

Since starting in 2009, I’ve been blessed to be recognized as one of the best photographers in America by BRIDES Magazine, and I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings and portrait commissions across North America, Europe, and the Caribbean! My Canadian roots always bring me back to Toronto in the spring and summer, while I get to enjoy all that Southern life has to offer.

As a wife and mother of two, I know firsthand how meaningful photographs truly are. My own children love sitting in my lap, flipping through our wedding album, pointing out family members, and asking about the moments that brought our family together.

And my grandmother — she’s 96 years old and surrounded by framed photographs that tell the story of our family’s life. Even though she’s no longer mobile, we get to share new memories with her through photos and video. Those images have become her connection to us — her way of reliving a lifetime of love and legacy.
