Spring showers bring us flowers! We set sail to the Toronto islands for Mariam and Daren’s sailboat engagement session. It rained down quite a bit on us but we were able to capture some beautiful images right before their big day. It’s always a good idea to have a clear umbrella on hand whenever there is rain in the forecast. No need to cancel unless there is a thunderstorm warning. I personally love a little overcast and fog, it just makes the photos look so much more dreamy and dramatic! It’s just amazing to have a couple that doesn’t mind getting a little wet either. These two lovebirds make it look like a fun adventure. They are such a beautiful pair and these pics really show just how much they are in love. Absolutely nothing could rain on their parade!

Here’s a few Q&As with the sweet couple. These two are a perfect example of how love can flourish in the most unexpected ways! Stay tuned for their wedding photos real soon!
We met the now seemingly old fashioned way; online! We were both on a semi-serious dating app, connected, and went on a first date that lasted all night; a dinner and walk and great conversation. Funnily enough, we discovered that we lived about a fifteen minute walk away from each other and even shopped at the same grocery store. And though we are almost complete opposites thru and thru, it works perfectly. Each of weaknesses is the other’s strength, we complement each other, and now it’s hard to even remember that first date those years ago as we’ve done so much together, and will continue to.

We got engaged in Riviera Maya on a vacation. One night before dinner, one of the earlier nights of our trip, we went for a walk along the beach at sunset. As soon as we were well alone, Daren got down on one knee and proposed! We then spent the rest of our trip celebrating our engagement with the resort. Then we got home and started planning our [my] dream wedding!
