Akin and Promise: Engaged

This session has adventure and romance written all over it. You wouldn’t think that combo would be possible at 7 am, but Akin and Promise pulled it off. Yonge-Dundas Square is a real focal point for Toronto. There are always events, concerts, and other gatherings happening there especially during the summer months. So getting up and shooting earlier is always better! Plus that morning light is like a dream. Akin and Promise had the perfect amount of joy and shared laughs pretty much the whole time. That tends to happen when you’re living miles apart and get together for a couple weeks. With Akin heading back to Texas, we took the time to shoot this adorable engagement and I’m so happy we were able to get the morning light. I’m also glad we got to take some risky photos under the Gardiner Expressway. It wasn’t planned at all and as we were heading to Polson Pier for more photos, I asked them to hop out of the car for some fun shots. They happily obliged. Seriously awesome couple for totally trusting my vision. Love ’em!
