Les Ateliers at The Spoke Club

As a followup to my feature on Les Ateliers’ website, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the inaugural power luncheon with 150 of Toronto’s most ambitious women. The event was organized by Daniella Etienne and her team at The Broken Heel Diaries (the BHD) and was particularly special because of the hands-on experience  that it offered attendees. Our main focus was to recognize who and what inspires us to “dream up” and reach higher towards our personal and financial goals. Thanks to the awesome sponsors, like Buick Canada, we enjoyed makeovers from YSL , manis from The Ten Spot, and got lots unexpected goodies! We gathered at The Spoke Club, an elegant venue in downtown Toronto, and heard from a series of speakers that each had something valuable to share. Question and answer sessions were abundant allowing attendees to get involved which was a great way to hear different stories and points of view. As much as I enjoy what social media has to offer, seeing old friends and making new acquaintances beats a few dozen “likes” any day. It was an honor to attend, enjoy a decadent lunch, and learn a little bit about the women that make the city of Toronto special. Although I was a guest, I had a feeling the event would be super fab, so I brought my camera along to capture my favorite moments. I look forward to the next Les Ateliers event, but until then I’ll share a few take away points mentioned by one of the speakers, Chriatal Agostino. These directives should keep me inspired as I continue to develop my personal brand.
