Tenisha and Pierre | Hazelton Manor Wedding Photos

I’ve got another beautiful wedding to share with you! This wedding was magical and filled with love and joy. One interesting thing about this couple is that the Groom Pierre is a beautiful singer and he actually sang while his bride was walking down the aisle. It was a truly magical moment!

Their ceremony was held at Willow Springs Winery under a beautiful tent with a gold chandelier and beautiful bouquets of white flowers. Their picture-perfect reception was held at Hazelton Manor in Concord. The room was filled with the most gorgeous white flowers and gold decor. You will absolutely love the pictures that I have here for you today and I hope it inspires your own wedding day!

What’s your favourite moment you’ve had since you met?

Tenisha: I might only be thinking this since it’s the most recent memorable moment, but I really will never forget and always cherish Pierre singing ‘My Dream – by Jamie Fox” as I walked down the aisle, as well as his beautifully written personal vows.

Describe your decor for your wedding and reception:

Wedding: We wanted a greenery theme with white, gold and green. In the last months, Treasa our planner, suggested that we add in hints of black as well because we became concerned over the greenery theme being overdone. For our wedding day we wanted it to be a true reflection of us as a couple and individually. Making sure it was sophisticated, and elegant but still had elements of fun mixed in.

Reception: The reception space was draped in all white, around the entire room and the room was filled with white, and green florals on all the guest tables.  The majority of the florals were repurposed from the ceremony space and used again in the reception, so we could enjoy them for the whole day. The same went for the floral arch from the ceremony, we repurposed it and placed behind our sweetheart head table alongside floral trees, that were placed in front of us. The cake table and head table also had matching floral runners on them.

For the tables we went with simple ivory colored table cloths, with black napkins and black and gold charger plates to tie in all the colors. We also had clear chiavari chairs with black seats to make sure everything went together.

I would say our inspiration didn’t come from one specific source but from a variety of different places, people and things.

Top 3 favorite details:

Our cake created by Fine Cakes by Zehra! We loved that it not only looked amazing but tasted that way too! We had a hard time choosing flavors at the tasting because they all tasted so good, but we decided on Vanilla Caramel Skor and White Chocolate Raspberry which everyone loved. We also wanted to incorporate our Jamaican heritage into our big day, so at each guests seat we had individually wrapped boxes of Jamaican black cake for them to enjoy as well.

Our florals by J’Adore Floral Boutique was also one of our top 3 details. The florals really added to the ambience and gave both the ceremony and reception that luxurious sophisticated feel that we were going for. It was just the right amount of florals without being too much at the same time. They were beautiful and made us feel as if we were in an enchanted forest.

Lastly, if we had to choose just one more favorite detail it would be all the work down by So Pretty in Print. Tina from So Pretty in Print, made us our beautiful one sided velvet green invitations that we absolutely loved and designed other details from our beautiful dance floor with our monogram on it, to the scripture that was on our aisle runner. These little touches added to all the surrounding details that made everything so much more impactful that day.

Any tips for future couples getting married?

Get a planner! It definitely helps to make sure that not only your day but the whole process is stress free, organized and efficiently managed. The most important thing is that this is your day! All your love ones are their to support you in this new chapter your embarking on so try not to stress, especially on your day to relax, have fun and enjoy all the months of hard work and planning that you put in.
