Richmond Hill Country Club Wedding: Melanie and Simon

Melanie initially told Simon that she wasn’t interested in a long distance relationship. He was living in Keswick Ontario and she was in Richmond Hill Ontario. Simon didn’t think it was a big deal and pursued the lovely Melanie anyway. I am so glad he did. They are perfect for each other! Melanie is lots of fun and super outgoing, she brings out Simon’s playful side. (Take a look at what I’m talking about from their Fall engagement session here!)

Melanie totally makes Simon melt and vice versa. How lucky am I to know them and to capture all that love at their wedding last Saturday?! Clearly no distance could keep these two apart. Simon and Melanie tied the knot at the Richmond Hill Country Club surrounded by their loving family and friend– a really great bunch of people that love these two more than anything!

It’s exciting to share the images from their fabulous wedding today. The newly weds just moved into their new home yesterday and will be honeymooning next month! They deserve all the happiness in the world. They truly have the biggest hearts. Instead of playing the typical kissing game, these two collected donations and played a charity kissing game and raised $70 for the Toronto Cat Rescue! And instead of tossing the bouquet, Melanie gifted it to one of her guests that was celebrating a birthday that day. Melanie was such a great bride to work with and very creative too! It was her and her girls that made the intricate center pieces!

I really can’t express how sweet this couple has been to me over the year that I spent getting to know them. I knew that I loved love, but these two confirmed that for me! Congratulations Mel and Simon!! xo
