Rhoda and Melroy | Engaged

Rhoda and I went to law school together at the University of Ottawa. I remember her as always being extremely kind with a constant smile on her face. When I received her text message informing me about her engagement, I was overjoyed! I got to meet Melroy and Rhoda together and they filled me in on the details. I love a sweet proposal story! Melroy is a quite the romantic. He got down on one knee and proposed while pretending to take a picture of her. They were in the midst of a picnic at the Scarborough Bluffs and when Rhoda turned around after the picture was taken, he had a beautiful ring and asked her to be his wife. Fast forward to their engagement session a couple of weeks ago… These two are such an easy going and gracious couple. The shoot took an unexpected turn when we found out that the annual Santa Claus parade in Toronto was taking place right at the TD Centre, the exact place where we planned to take some photos. Eventually, I found them through the crowd and we walked over to Union Station. Once everything cleared up we headed back to the TD Centre. The road was clear and peaceful so we pretty much had the street to ourselves! I’m so excited to photograph their wedding next year so that capture their beautiful love story as it unfolds!
