Kwaku and Diane: Ottawa Engagement Session

I am so excited to share this engagement shoot with the gorgeous Diane and her handsome fiance, Kwaku! I know these two are loved by many… After posting a preview of their shoot on my Facebook page, over 100 of their closest friends and family shared their love and support of the couple with likes and comments! The power of Facebook is incredible… I know their wedding is going to be grand!

We truly got lucky with the weather. Those who live in Ottawa can agree that the weather can be extremely unpredictable at times. It was sheer blessings that the sun came out for our sunrise engagement photo shoot on Parliament Hill. For those of you non-Canadians, Parliament is a national historic site in Canada. And yes, I’m a proud Canadian! It’s located in the capital city of Ottawa. I have driven past it countless times and snagged a few shots of it on Instagram. The grounds are located in downtown Ottawa and is one that’s hard not to be mesmerized by. I’m so happy to have had the opportunity to finally capture it with two amazing people in love. For anyone thinking of using the location for photos, sunrise is best!

After shooting on the Hill, we headed to the Canadian Museum of Nature. Diane scouted the venue for the second half of their engagement shoot. She has fabulous taste! We shot in the Lantern,  a beautiful glass structure just above the entrance of the museum. It’s a natural light photographer’s dream come true!

I feel so honored to be the wedding photographer for this stunning couple. As a friend, I am truly happy to be able to witness this exciting time in their lives. This wedding will be in Toronto on July 26th… I am super excited!
