Ottawa Engagement Photography | Yves + Roslyn

Yves and Roslyn are a stylish and fun couple that smile and laugh without being asked. We got together on a bright Thursday morning for their engagement session at the Museum of History and around downtown Ottawa. Although it was spring, it was still quite windy at times, but we still spoke and walked around like it was a warm sunny day. It was great getting to know them a little better during the engagement session and I adore their matching stripes and distressed jeans look. Love! Plus, Roslyn’s blush tulle skirt screams spring!

It’s too cute how Yves has the ability to make Roslyn laugh. They were so present and enjoyed the moments together. It really was fun and I can’t help but feel truly blessed to work with amazing couples. And I’m so pleased with how their beautiful photos turned out. 

I am excited to have met these two and I’m even more excited to be photographing their wedding in July at the Hilton in Ottawa – which is sure to be a sunny, laid back affair filled with special moments, family, friends and fun. I. Can’t. Wait! I’m also incredibly humbled because I met this amazing couple through my now friends and previous wedding clients, Kwaku and Diane!

I had so much fun during our shoot that I recorded some video too! It’s definitely a fun look at their love and another way for me to be creative. Enjoy!
