Makeba + Daniel | Reunited After Long Distance Love
Spending time away from a spouse is frustrating, but these two show us that love never fails. I had the opportunity to create these emotional photos of them, as well as the video below, so that they can remember this joyous time in their lives. The best part is that they shared a short message about their experience being long distance and celebrating their 3 year wedding anniversary:
What do you do when you find the right person to trust with sharing your life?
You become consumed with the energy of their presence, and captivated by these mutual feelings. You say I do and choose to be tied together for eternity; emotionally and spiritually. But what if you are then pulled apart physically by individual dreams???
Do you walk away, forget about all the deep unparalleled feelings you have for this person? It is not an easy circumstance, yet it is one we share with many couples. Out of love we chose to support each others individual exploration of their dreams, knowing that this is a love for a lifetime, and distance can not destroy a lifetime of love.
So we made a plan, we made it work, all while dreaming of the day we would be together in one place pursuing OUR dream. December 23rd 2013; our 3 year anniversary…butterflies in our stomach…excitement…anxious movements…the plane touched down…the countdown was now over and so were our conflicting time zones and skype conversations. It was the Reunion that put OUR DREAM in motion.
