Graffiti Alley Engagement Photography: Ann-Janelle + Kevin

I always get excited when I meet a couple and instantly click with them. That’s how I felt when I first sat down with Ann-Janelle and Kevin to talk about their big day this summer. They are fun, laid back and absolutely adorable together. They also were open to trying new things for their photos. They started their shoot in Toronto’s graffiti alley, where some of of the city’s best street art was used as a backdrop. I’ve wanted to shoot in from of the ‘This is Paradise’ mural and the Picasso inspired one as well. This was the perfect opportunity and my heart skips several beats when clients think outside the box. A+K chose graffiti alley and also suggested we shoot a portion of their engagement shoot at night. I’m so glad for their creativity and their complete trust in me to create art for them.  While getting to know each other, they spent a lot of time walking around downtown Toronto during the warmer months. They walked and talked and eventually fell in love. It made perfect sense to recreate the scene where their love began for their engagement shoot. I had so much fun capturing the joy and love in their relationship and also getting to chat with them some more over dinner as we waited for the sun to go down. I can’t wait to photograph their big day this summer! Oh my goodness. Seriously. Can’t. Wait!
