I have another engagement to share with you today! Nyalay & Richard are actually getting married this Friday at the Piedmont Garden Tent and I can hardly contain the excitement I have! These two met over 10 years ago. They weren’t sure where to take their engagement photos so I suggested we visit the
Fernbank Museum of Natural History and Cator Woolford Gardens in Atlanta.
Keep reading to hear about how they got engaged and what they are most excited about in the coming days!
Nyalay: Richard and I met about 10 years ago when we were both living in Madison, WI. Richard’s roommate and my best friend were in school together and we started to hanging out as friends.
After a couple years a crush developed and that turned into a relationship and 8 years later… we are finally getting married!
Nyalay: We got engaged at the end of last year in New Orleans, LA. We were on a New Year’s Eve trip with a couple of our friends and Richard popped the question in the middle of Jackson Square!
New Orleans was the first trip we took together and it’s our favourite place to visit so it was very special to get engaged there years later.
Richard: Being married! I think we’re stronger together as a whole and I think marriage will only strengthen our bond. So I’m looking forward to us both growing together through the rest our lives.
Nyalay: Being married! We both feel married already so we are excited to see how different it will feel after the wedding. I’m excited to have kids and how it will enrich the love we have for each other.
The ceremony and dancing!!
