It’s that time of year again! With wedding season approaching and the warm weather upon us, more and more couples are looking for Toronto photography locations for engagement shoots.

As wedding and engagement photographers, it’s our job to find the best photogenic locations for our couples. These locations are for those who love to be surrounded by nature. Let’s discuss these beautiful Toronto location ideas:

Scarborough Bluffs

Would you look at this view? The Scarborough Bluffs are home to some of the most beautiful views of Lake Ontario from the top of the bluffs. If you’re up for the task, switch out those heels for some sneakers to make your way up to the top.

If hiking isn’t your thing, the bluffs are also home to some amazing greenery and a sandy beach in the surrounding parks.

High Park

High Park is a beautiful spot located on the westside of downtown Toronto that all couples will fall in love with. From lovely gardens and greenery, to forests, ponds and urban spaces, you’ll find yourself lost in the beauty surrounding you. With just under 400 acres of park to explore, each visit to this park is a new adventure finding more hidden corners and beautiful trees.

Cherry Beach

Many people visit Cherry Beach for its rustic lifeguard station, beautiful greenery and rocky lakeshore, but the best feature of this beautiful park? IT’S DOG FRIENDLY! Need I say more?

Whether you take a stroll along the shore or on one of the many walking paths, you’ll love the feeling that an empty beach has.

It’s rustic, romantic, spacious and pretty, the perfect background for a couple that enjoys simple yet beautiful pictures.

Kortright Centre For Conservation

Towering tall trees, rolling green meadows and serene little ponds makes for a picture-perfect engagement session only 30 minutes north of Toronto. The landscapes offer an elegant yet mystic feeling no matter what season you visit. The beautiful wooden paths and lookout towers make the surrounds look like a scene from a fairy tale.

This location requires a permit for photography but once you get it, you’ll be wisped away by the beauty surrounding you.

Kariya Park

Kariya park is like a glimpse of Japan located minutes away from Square One shopping centre in Mississauga. Kariya Park is home to many plant species including the lovely cherry blossoms that surround the serene little park. Kariya Park is much smaller in size than other locations on this list, making it one of the most peaceful locations to visit.

Evergreen Brickworks

Old heritage buildings, wildflower meadows, lookout towers, and little ponds are just some features of this location just off of the Don Valley Parkway. Take a hike up the cliff and be rewarded with one of the best lookouts the city has to offer.

This location also requires a permit for photography on the premises.

Toronto Botanical Garden

Winding trails with lush florals and greenery path the way of nearly 4 acres featuring 17 themed gardens at the Toronto Botanical Garden. Named “The little garden with big ideas”, this lovely garden definitely won’t disappoint you and your fiancé.

Once you get a permit to photograph in this exquisite garden, you can capture all the photos your heart desires.
