Tell us about what you do?
I am the Host/Producer of A Voice For All on Rogers Tv, Community Disability Advocate, Educator, and Public Figure.
What are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about people. For 15 years I have been working with individuals with disabilities as well as their families, and being an educator allows me to connect with learners of all ages.
How did you get started?
God clearly had a plan for me as I originally thought I was going to start my career in business. He introduced me to the field and has guided me ever since through all of my success.
How do you keep inspired?
On my hard days I stop to reflect about some of the students/clients I’ve worked with and remember the toughest moments that turned into victories. Their progress is my fuel I need to stay focused.
What’s your favorite book?
This I know for sure – Oprah
Favorite quote?
“Ain’t nobody got time for that”
I can’t-live-without my…
Family, poutine, [is life] my closet, and fresh haircut
What’s the biggest challenge you’ve overcome in your life or as an entrepreneur?
Being a passenger in 2 car accidents made me realize that there is truly a reason why I’m here and even if things aren’t in my favour, that I cannot give up because I wasn’t given up on.
Any advice for others that want to follow on a similar path?
The journey to success is never easy – even elevators and escalators shut down. Whatever happens along the way, take it all in and always remember to celebrate even the tiniest accomplishments.
My # 1 source of inspiration is... Mama Bear. The minute I’m feeling defeated or pessimistic, she’s on a mission to pull me back to shore. Thank you Ms.Gamble
